Alcuin Western Violet is an intuitive, connected and human-focused medium size F5 Australian Cobberdog who was born at our place in 2022. Violet is the daughter of Spring Hills Sunlit Rose and Spring Hills Starlit Roscoe. Service is in her genes, with Rosie living a retired life with a family of 5 in Sydney and Roscoe providing support to the elderly in a nursing home.
Like her parents, Violet just loves to love her humans. She is always the first one up for 1:1 time. She has the best eye contact out of all our dogs. When the other Cobberdogs are playing with toys or balls, she can be found sitting next to the human, waiting for a kind word or cuddle. Yet she is also very clever and quick to learn new tricks. Violet is kind, gentle and playful with puppies which gives us confidence in her role as a mother.
Violet has a light density, straight, low-shedding, hypoallergenic fleece, gold in colour (meaning it appears blonde with auburn flecks in the sunlight).
We anticipate having a mix or white, gold and red puppies ranging in size from medium to standard size.

See "Our Breeding Dogs" page for photos of Violet, and our video below, "What is an Australian Cobberdog like?", which features Violet.
Spring Hills Starlit Emma is one of our foundation dogs and the Mother of Bonnie. Emma is calm, solid, friendly and connected, displaying great eye contact. She is also playful and always up for a game of fetch. See "Our Breeding Dogs" for more information about Emma. We plan for Emma to have a litter around November 2025. This will be her final litter.
