paddington

"Paddington became my son’s saviour and best friend"

We were given the most beautiful gift; our beautiful Paddington, who was from one of the first Cobbers for Life litters. Paddington was a covid puppy, so he loved having us at home. Then my son was diagnosed with brain cancer that left him blind in 2022. Since that day, Paddington became my son’s saviour and best friend. Paddy comes everywhere with us and loves the car, playing at the beach and wrestling with his hooman brother each night. He is a crazy floof when he is allowed to be, and then calm and loves to sleep 14 hrs per night. We cannot imagine a world without Paddington. Thank you so much for the greatest gift.

Zoe

"We are so thankful she is part of our family"

Zoe is an absolute delight! We are so thankful that she is part of our family. She is so loved by every single one of us and brings us such joy. Zoe loves playing catch and is always excited to be doing whatever the family is doing. She loves coming in the car even on long trips, and wins hearts wherever she goes. Zoe is super playful and beautifully gentle. She loves swimming, playing at the park and always has a ball in her mouth in the hope of a play. We love catching a glimpse of her nose waiting at the window when we come home and she always gets to the door before we do, ready to greet us. Zoe makes sure she looks after us when we are sick or sad. It's like she knows what we're feeling! She loves us so much.

Rosie

"She is very calm and happy to chill"

A week in and Rosie is very much a part of our family....  She travels so well in the car, is the best sleeper in the house and loves her arvo walks. She comforted Huddy when he was off school sick, which he thought was so special then he wanted to sit so close to her when she was in her crate one night. She is very calm and happy to chill inside and watch us all.  Tilly loves her company. Rosie is a little cheeky, getting up on the couches - but luckily she is so obedient and pops down when you ask, as she looks at us with those eyes that tell us she knows she shouldn't be up there

She is so well trained. Getting her over a puppy was the best call for our fam. We just love her!

Murphy

"He is such a beautiful soul"

Murphy - what a joy he is. We couldn't imagine our lives without him. He is such a beautiful soul and a massive comfort to Phil as he faces his journey with Pancreatic cancer. Murphy's first response is to cuddle and love. We can't imagine coping with all this without our ray of sunshine. Murphy has not left Phil's side. He cuddles up to Phil when he gets home from  hospital, they walk every morning together, visiting their favourite coffee shops who give Murphy dog biscuits.
Murphy has licked away my tears when things got scary with Phil.

Murphy is so loving, sweet and kind. His gentle nature is incredible, never had such a lovely dog and we feel so blessed he came into our lives.

Benji

"Benji is the best dog ever!"

Benji is the best dog ever! He's super chill, he doesn't bark at all, non aggressive and great around everyone. He also loves training. He's such a beautiful dog.

Bonnie

"Bonnie is so smart and eager to please"

Bonnie is such a key part of our family that we can’t really imagine life without her! She’s so intuitive and in tune with what’s going on in the family. We often laugh when we notice her quietly watching all the comings and goings of our busy family - she doesn’t miss a thing!

She loves people. We have visitors in our home regularly, and Bonnie now sees us preparing, and will wait by the door so she can say hello. She looks very put out if she needs to be away from visitors for some reason. We have some regular visitors who won’t leave till they get to say hello to Bonnie.

Bonnie is so smart, and so eager to please. She’s a real rule-keeper! She knows she’s not allowed out the front door until she’s been given the “okay”. She even corrects the cat (not a rule-keeper) when she tries to get out the front door - not a rough correction, always gentle but firm. Even at 4 years of age, Bonnie’s always up for learning something new.

Bonnie is a very affectionate and gentle dog. She loves cuddles and is happiest when she is near her family. She would love to accompany us wherever we go but is very good at staying home by herself. She makes us all laugh with her side eye expressions and goofy antics. A cuddle with Bonnie is a great way to regulate if anyone has had a hard day.

"Cobbers for Life went above and beyond"

Choosing our first family dog was such a daunting experience. Having never had one before, we felt completely out of our depth but Tristan from Cobbers for Life went above and beyond. He gave so much of his time and energy to guide us through the process, patiently hand-holding us to ensure we made the right decision for our family.

Tristan took things further, personally delivering her to us. While everything he did was incredible, the real gift is our beautiful puppy herself. She’s calm, gentle, and has the most perfect temperament — truly more than we ever could have hoped for.

We can’t thank Tristan and his family enough. Cobbers for Life has given us not just a dog, but a wonderful new family member.

RUFUS

"He instantly slotted into our life"

Rufus is happiness in a curly fur coat! He is so smart and beyond capable. He is so loving with people and other dogs. He is so loyal to the family, loving it best when everyone is at home together for a movie - with him making sure he is giving equal cuddle time to each person. He is such a brilliant dog. He instantly slotted into our life. Now I cannot imagine my life without him. You truly breed the most unbelievably connected and compassionate dogs.
